Designer Gacha Rules 2012

The FFL Gacha gives the opportunity for designers to let customers see their great work by offering a low priced item in several versions or several low priced items in a randomizing vendor. The Gachas will be located in special areas on each sim and the participants will receive special notice on our Gacha page, special promotion through hunt and freebie groups, etc.

What is a gacha? It’s a vendor that holds several items and distributes them upon payment in a random fashion. The best metaphor has been a bubble gum machine; you put your linden in and get one of several choices offered.

Rules for the FFL gacha:

  • We require you to make SIX items for the gacha set. The items can be different colorways of one item or 6 different items altogether. The  gacha set CAN count towards the 4 donation items required to be in Fashion for Life. (In other words, one set of gacha can replace one of the four items we require.)
  • The set needs to be priced at 10-100L. That is, you will charge that amount per item from the set.
  • The items MUST be set to NO COPY/TRANSER to allow customers to trade or send items to friends.
  • Make a texture that shows all versions of the gachas you are offering on one texture and shows the per gacha price.
  • We will provide a special gatcha vendor that will send all proceeds to the ACS funds.
  • We will have a special area for gacha vendors on each sim. We request that you put a vendor in this special area but you can also place your gatcha vendor in your store.
  • We will inform you where to place your gatcha vendor and will ask for a texture of the ad.
  • We will promote the gacha on a special section of our web page.

We found our gatcha promotion was very successful last year–people had fun and loved collecting small items. We believe it will generate a lot of donation money for ACS and will also allow our vendors to produce something a little different.
